My Favorite Place is White Mountains of New Hampshire

Growing up in the White Mountains of New Hampshire is a true blessing. The rural town that I have lived in for the past 19 years of my life, has shaped me into a fearless young man that I am today. There are many mountains to go hiking, skiing, or even sightseeing. Some of those attractions include; Mt. Lincoln, Mount Washington, or taking a drive over the scenic Kancamagus Highway. The town that I grew up in (Woodstock, NH) is a very quiet but special community that will always have an impact on my life because that's where a family of four loved each other no matter what the situation was. Rarely no criminal activity happens in this area, which makes this place close and special to me. I spend most of my free time camping and enjoying nature to the fullest extent. I did this almost every weekend with my brothers, when I was younger. Spending time with each other and going camping always brings our friendship closer together, every time we would see one another. We would always talk about life and our futures as a whole group, while sitting around a vibrant campfire. Those were always the two major topics, nothing else. Woodstock, New Hampshire will always be my favorite place on earth because it brought me laughter, friendship, and love. Those are the three things that I want in life and this place just brings it all together as one. There is no other place in the world I would call home. As I grow older each and every day, I'm not ready to let this place go, but before I go somewhere else in life, you will always a place in my heart.(Picture of Brandon Harrington taken on iPhone 8 on July 2nd, 2019)

  1. This looks like a great little town to grow up in. New Hampshire is such great state to live in. You are so lucky that you were able to live so close to so many scenic and fun places like skiing and hiking. These activities are so great. This town sounds like a very safe place to grow up and raise a family. That image of Woodstock NH looks amazing. Did you very do any fishing or canoeing in this area? Looks like it would be a great spot for that and a lot of fun. That's pictures with the White mountains looks incredible. I have always wanted to go to the white mountains and go hiking. I have also always wanted to hike Mt Washington. That would be such an experience. Really makes you step back and reflect on how you get to live in such a wonderful area. This reminds me of my town back home and how much it means to me. Even if I move away some day that place will always be special to me because that is where I grew up and made all my friends that I hope to stay close with in the future.
