Spend Some Time In Nature!
Elbow Pond: Woodstock, New Hampshire |
The place I went and explored for this blog post was at an Elbow Pond in Woodstock, NH. I went there with some of the few friends I graduated high school with because we enjoy coming here and spending time with nature, especially when I begins to snow. I would suggest this for people to come to but it is really difficult and dangerous to drive out to the actual pond itself. This is the outside of the pond, we couldn't go any further because the gate was closed for the winter season. In terms of animals, we saw a couple of deer tracks in the snow but not a lot of people because no one lives in these neck of the woods, unless you are risky enough to do so. I have been here some many times, I can't count them on my hand! I love coming here just to relax and enjoy the natural beauty our earth gives us. When we got there, we of course took many pictures of sun setting sky and after that we just talked about life and how we are all doing after not seeing each other for such along time. I felt so happy being there because I didn't have to think about anything except spending the time with my best friends and enjoying this special moment we usually never get. My state of mind didn't change, even though I have been here multiple times, I still get excited seeing this place because it means so much to me and my friends. Anyone is welcome to come here and experience this because it'll change your life once you drive away from this scenic view.
This place sounds like a very nice place to relax with some friends and catch up. This reminds me of my camp back home in the winter time when the pond freezes and you can look out onto the the mountains covered in snow. That"s cool that you were able to see tracks on animals. Did you see any other types of tracks like coyote? I have never seen one in nature before but I think it would be really cool to see a coyote. Is there any type of ice fishing you do at the pond? That a great activity to have some fun with your friends. Just reading this posts makes me wont to travel here to see this spot. Overall i really enjoyed this post. It reminded me a lot of my camp back home and brigs back some great memories.
